Post the transaction, the PE wanted to hire a CFO who will work with the promoters, professional CEO and the management team, to drive the growth and profitability agenda, and put the firm on track for an IPO. The CFO was expected to take stock of existing operations, set the transformation agenda (not just within finance, but in the overall organization) along with the CEO, and keep the organization on track to achieve this agenda over the next 3-5 years.
