The client is a part of a well-known, leading retail and consumer group with a presence across multiple formats and multiple categories, with a pan-Indian presence. A listed entity, the client wanted a CFO who could bring in improved operating performance, tighter reporting and compliance, and overall improved standards of governance and investor engagement.

The client desired to bring in young, fast trackers from market/segment-leading FMCG companies as the CFO for the listed entity and give them room to demonstrate their full capability. The ask was to specifically hire only from FMCG firms that lead/dominate their space, to ensure alignment to the challenge.
