The client is one of the best-known names in the education space and is a household brand name and a listed firm. With PE investments already in, the firm was looking for a CFO who could co-pilot the business, along with the CEO and bring back the lost glory.

The CFO was expected to work alongside the promoters, PE and the professional CEO, to ensure that the firm was financially well managed and put back on the growth track, be it in terms of offerings, pricing, distribution or diversifying into high-growth areas. With a vast network of physical centres nationwide and outside, the firm was looking for a CFO from distribution-intensive businesses like education, retail, insurance etc.
