What will you do?

Understand the business and the mandate

• Work closely with the Partner to understand the client's business, strategy, organisation structure and leadership requirement.
• Research company performance, financials, industry dynamics, competitors and key business drivers.
• Understand the context, responsibilities and success measures for the CXO role.

Build and execute the search

• Develop target companies and candidate pools in discussion with the Partner.
• Use internal databases, market research, LinkedIn and other primary and secondary sources to identify relevant candidates.
• Approach senior professionals and conduct initial conversations to assess interest, relevance and fit.
• Participate in detailed assessment conversations and contribute to evaluating the final candidate slate.

Own candidate and client engagement

• Prepare clear, insightful candidate assessment notes and profiles.
• Work closely with clients through the evaluation process, including shortlisting, scheduling and candidate engagement.
• Build trusted relationships with candidates and clients and provide discreet, thoughtful inputs through the process.
• Support the Partner on compensation analysis, offer discussions and closure.

Contribute to thought leadership

• Participate in research projects and quarterly publications.
• Analyse business and market data and translate numbers into meaningful insights.
• Bring sharp analytical thinking and strong data presentation skills to the team.

Be an active voice in senior meetings

• Participate in important client meetings and Board-level discussions led by the Partner.
• Contribute meaningfully to BD pitches, mandate discussions and final candidate presentations.

Who are we looking for?

The current need is for someone to join our growing CFO Practice. We are looking for smart, curious and commercially oriented professionals who enjoy understanding businesses, people and leadership.

Candidates could come from:

• MBA / CA / CMA / ICWA backgrounds
• Finance, FP&A, business finance, controllership, audit, tax, MIS or strategy
• Professionals with strong exposure to business performance, numbers, markets and customers

Previous experience with reputed large or professionally managed organisations is preferred.
