The client is a well-known chemical major and a part of a diversified conglomerate based out of South India. The client is transitioning from a functional structure where individual functions such as marketing, operations, finance etc reported to the MD, to a BU structure where the BU Head controls major functions such as marketing, operations, and procurement, and reports to the MD. This is being done to drive better focus on key products to accelerate growth and the firm is looking to create two BUs from the existing organization.

The CEO is expected to work alongside the professional MD and the promoter of the group, to drive superior growth of the top- and bottom line of the BU. In addition, the CEO will be responsible for crafting the long-term strategy for the new BU and implementing the same.
