The Client is one of the leading players in the silicones space and has a pan-Indian presence in the segment with a significant market share.
With the imminent retiring of the current CEO who was also taking care of the sales and marketing, the firm decided to separate the CEO and NSM roles, looking to hire a real star, fast-tracker from the chemicals space with experience in not just sales but also in operations, as they wanted a candidate who can become the CEO of the Silicones Business in a year or take up larger, senior leadership roles in other chemicals businesses within the Group.
We had mapped the entire chemicals industry, specifically to identify candidates with BE Chemical + Premier MBA and falling within the 38 – 45 years age bracket, across the sector, including parts of global markets. From this extensive work, we helped client pick and onboard a fast-tracking all-rounder from one of the largest chemicals companies.
